Arif Toys & Gifts & Electronic is located at Yusuf Building, ground floor, on Forjet Street near Peddar Road. It's a bit of an interesting spot. Peddar Road is known for being quite busy, but Forjet Street has its own character. Our shop name tells you exactly what’s inside. We have toys for the kids, gifts for the adults, and some electronic bits and pieces that people always seem to need. It’s a lot to manage in one space. Sometimes I find a toy car hidden behind a stack of radio parts. The Yusuf Building is an older structure, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool inside even when it's hot outside. We’ve been here for a long time. People who used to come in as kids to buy toys now bring their own children here. It makes me feel a bit old, but it’s nice to see. We don't have any corporate training or polished sales pitches. We just know where everything is kept, usually. If you're looking for something specific, you might have to give us a minute to find it in the back. The street outside can get quite congested with traffic, so we see a lot of people looking out their car windows at our displays. We just keep the windows clean and the lights on, hoping people find what they need for their kids or their homes.
