If you head over to Andheri West, you'll find us at 104 Janki Center on Dattaji Salvi Marg. It’s just off Veera Desai Road, which everyone knows gets pretty packed with traffic during the rush hours. Our space inside the building is usually filled with large rolls of paper and various drawings spread out over the tables. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The air conditioning sometimes makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We spend a lot of time looking at screens or measuring things out on the floor. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we just get on with it without much talking sometimes. There’s a small pantry area where we make coffee, which is pretty much essential on the days we stay late. The Janki Center building has a lot of other offices too, so the hallways are usually busy with people moving around. We try to keep our heads down and focus on the current project at hand. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, then more sitting and drawing. The commute can be a bit of a pain depending on the weather, but once we’re in the office, the day goes by fairly quick. It’s just a normal spot where we do our daily tasks and try to make sure everything is sorted out before we leave.
