Being in the heart of Mumbai, specifically around the 400021 zip code, means things are always moving fast. You can hear the city noise even from that high up. The building itself is one of those older, solid structures you see in the business districts. Getting up to the 13th floor every morning gives you a bit of a view, though we mostly focus on the paperwork on our desks. We handle different business ventures and projects from here. The office is usually cluttered with files and notebooks. We aren't big on interior design, so it’s mostly just functional furniture. The air conditioning is always running because Mumbai humidity is no joke. Most of us take the local train and then a bus or a cab to get to Regent Chambers. It’s a bit of a trek, but you get used to it after a week. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall or a dabba brought from home. We tend to stay late sometimes when there’s a lot to wrap up. It’s a busy environment, but we try to keep things relaxed between us. Nobody wears suits unless they absolutely have to. We are just a group of people trying to make things work in a big city without much fuss.
