We've been at this spot in Room No 8 for a while now. It's right in Porbunder Chawl, over here in Chirag Nagar. If you know the LBS Marg area in Ghatkopar West, you've probably passed us plenty of times. The space is a bit cramped, but we make it work for the day-to-day stuff. We handle a lot of the trading and supply needs people ask for. It's not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything. Most days it's just us keeping track of orders and making sure things get where they need to go. Working out of a chawl means you get to know the neighbors pretty well. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic on the main road, but that's just how life is in this part of Mumbai. We mostly focus on the paperwork and the logistics part of the business from here. It is a straightforward operation. We don't really have a big signs or flashing lights. People usually find us because they need something specific supplied and they heard we were the ones to talk to. We keep things moving, even when the rain is heavy or the heat gets bad. It’s just a regular place where we put in the hours and try to get the work finished by the end of the day. Nothing more to it than that. We’ve stayed in Ghatkopar because it’s where everything happens.
