We are set up at Shop No. 120 in Evershine Millenium Paradise, over in Thakur Village. Kandivali East has changed a lot, but we have been in this spot for a good while. Computers are what we know best, so that is what we do every day. People come in with laptops that won't turn on or desktops that are running way too slow. It’s usually a bit of a mess on our workbench with screws and wires everywhere, but we know where everything goes. We also sell some parts if you are looking to fix things yourself, like RAM or hard drives. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it feels even smaller when we have three or four big monitors taking up the desk space. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for crawling under desks to plug things in. Most of our day is spent staring at screens or poking around inside a computer case. We listen to the radio while we work, usually some old songs or the news. It’s not a corporate office environment at all. We just want to help the people in the village get their tech back in working order. Sometimes we can fix it fast, other times it takes a few days if we need a specific part. We’ll tell you straight if something is worth fixing or if it’s time to move on.
