Apollo Tyres

If you are driving down Link Road in Malad West, you’ve likely seen the Toyota showroom. We are located right across from it, inside Nestle Apartments. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always noise and movement outside, but inside our office at D 603, things are a bit more focused. Apollo Tyres has been using this space as a base for quite a while. It’s essentially a residential building, which gives the whole operation a very different feel than a glass-walled office tower. We deal with tyres and everything that comes with that side of the business. The stairs and elevators are always busy with residents and people coming to see us. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the hallways, especially when deliveries are being coordinated. Living and working in Malad means you have to get used to the pace. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or making the place look like a showroom. It’s more of a functional workspace where we manage the logistics and talk to customers on the phone. Most of our day is spent tracking orders and making sure things are moving where they need to go. It’s a practical way to run things in this part of town. The commute for some of us is long, but being centrally located in Malad makes it easier for the business. It’s just how we do things here, day in and day out.
