Working out of MIDC is a bit different than being in the city center. Here at Aplrc Aurobindo Pharma Limited, we are at Plot No -16 on Road No -9. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks passing by in the background. The air can get a bit dusty with all the activity going on around us. Our building is a basic structure, built for work rather than looking pretty. We have a lot of space inside for the various things we need to handle. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. The roads in MIDC can be a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon season. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. If you are looking for us, you just have to find the right plot number. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our equipment. We don’t really do meetings in fancy boardrooms. Usually, we just talk over a desk or in the hallway. It’s a straightforward way of working. We deal with a lot of supplies and logistics every day. Sometimes it feels like the work never ends, but we just take it one day at a time. The local canteen is where most of us go for a quick bite. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We’ve been part of this industrial zone for a while now and we know our way around the neighborhood.
