Apex Computer

Over in Borivali West, specifically in the Nehru Nagar area, you will find Shop No 17 inside the Ganesh Darshan building. That is where we run Apex Computer. It is right on L T Road, so there is always a lot of movement and sound from the street. The shop is filled with all sorts of parts—keyboards, old monitors, and bundles of wires that we try to keep organized. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes when three or four people are inside at once. We spend most of our time at Apex Computer staring at motherboards or trying to figure out why a laptop won't boot up. The Ganesh Darshan building is an older one, but it is a good location for us. People from all over Nehru Nagar bring their machines here when they stop working. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just have our tools and a workbench. Sometimes the heat in Borivali gets to the machines, so we spend a lot of time cleaning out dust and fixing fans. It is just a small shop, number 17, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work on the circuits. It isn't a fancy corporate service center, just a local place where you can get your computer looked at by people who have seen every kind of error message there is.
