Anukool

Anukool is just a small shop tucked away in the Matru Chhaya building. We are right opposite Aamchi Chembur, which is a spot most people around here recognize easily. Chembur has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner near Rajawadi feels mostly the same. Our shop, number 6, is where we spend our mornings and evenings. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be careful about where we stack things. Sometimes the morning sun hits the front window directly and it gets a bit warm, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes from the street. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff. We don’t really do big marketing or have a fancy website that works properly. People just know we are here. The neighbors are nice, and we often find ourselves chatting with the person at the next shop about the rising prices of everything. Life is simple here. We open up, tidy the place, and wait to see who stops by. Sometimes it’s a regular who just wants to chat for ten minutes, and other times it’s someone who actually needs something done. Either way, we just take it as it comes. It’s a quiet life compared to the big offices in the city, but it suits our pace just fine. We have a small radio that usually plays old songs in the background.
