Anjali Novelty

Anjali Novelty is tucked away in the Anand Vikas Cooperative Housing Society, right across from Nalanda College. If you know the Daddanakundi Industrial Area, you've probably passed us. We're on Whitefield Road in Borivali West. It’s a busy spot, especially when classes let out and students are wandering around looking for stuff. We keep a variety of items on the shelves, from basic daily things to those little gifts you forget you need until you see them. The shop isn't huge, so things are stacked pretty close together. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact color or size someone wants, but that’s just how it goes here. We open up early and stay until the evening. The local residents from the society stop by often just to see what’s new or pick up something they ran out of at home. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. We don't really do fancy displays or anything like that. We just put things out where people can see them and try to keep things moving. Most days are pretty much the same, greeting the regulars and helping people find whatever they’re looking for. It’s a straightforward business and we like being part of the neighborhood. The building has been here for years, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit around the industrial estate. It's just us doing our thing every day.
