I’ve been staying here at Flat-104 in Ganesh Darshan for a good bit now. It’s right in Sector-4 of Kopar Khairne. If you know Navi Mumbai, you know it’s a mix of busy markets and quiet pockets. This building, Plot-31, is one of those places where everyone knows each other’s business but in a friendly way. I started running things from this flat because it just made sense. No point in renting a big glass office when I can do everything from a desk here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the fan. I handle most of the day-to-day stuff myself. My neighbors usually see me coming and going with papers or just heading out for a quick tea at the corner shop. It’s not a huge operation with a bunch of staff in suits. It is just me, Anil, trying to keep things organized. I’ve lived in Mumbai long enough to appreciate a short commute, even if it’s just from the bedroom to the living room. People ask why I don’t have a big sign outside, but I think word of mouth does enough. If someone needs to find me, they usually find the address easily enough. Life here is pretty routine, which is how I like it. I get the work done, handle the calls, and try to stay on top of the paperwork without making a big fuss about it. I keep a small kettle in the corner for making coffee, and the balcony has a decent view of the street below if you ignore the wires.
