Our office for Andromeda Marketing Pvt Ltd is located in the Dattkrupa Housing Society, which is in Maharashtra Nagar, specifically the Appapada area of Kurar Village in Malad East. Mumbai 400097 is a busy place, and Kurar Village has its own very specific rhythm. Being inside a housing society means our office feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a separate business district. We have a small room where we have all our equipment set up. It’s not a large space, so we’ve had to be clever about where we put our desks and chairs. There is usually a bit of laundry hanging on the balconies nearby and you can hear the typical sounds of a Mumbai residential colony throughout the day. We don't have a big reception area or shiny glass doors. Instead, we have a simple entrance and a space that feels lived-in and functional. It gets quite damp during the monsoon season, so we’re always keeping an eye on the walls and the equipment. We take the bus or a rickshaw to get here, and the lanes can be quite narrow and crowded, especially when it rains. It’s an honest place to work, and we don't feel the need to make it look like something it’s not. We are just a small marketing team working out of Malad, doing our daily tasks and being part of the local life in Appapada. It's a bit cramped, but it's our base.
