My office is over in Borivali East, situated in the Swastik Vihar building, room 302. It is on the third floor, so if the lift is not working, it is a bit of a climb, but usually, it is fine. The office is just a simple room where I spend my time dealing with all the paperwork and files that come through. It is a fairly small space, but it has enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for visitors. I have lived and worked in this part of Mumbai for a long time, so I am used to the constant sounds of the city outside the window. You can hear the trains in the distance sometimes and the traffic is always there. The room is filled with books and folders that have been sitting there for years. It is not a modern office with glass walls or anything like that; it is just a practical place to get things done. I like to keep things quiet so I can focus on the documents in front of me. Most people who come by are from the local neighborhood or have been told about me by someone else. It is a very basic setup where I just handle the daily business as it comes. No fancy bells or whistles here, just a desk and some pens and a lot of work to finish. It suits the way I like to do things without any extra hassle.
