Anand Chikne

Anand Chikne is located over in Mulund West. We are based inside the K K Gupta Industrial Estate, specifically on the road near the Dr area. It’s a pretty busy spot with a lot of noise from the surrounding workshops. Our space isn't much to look at, just a functional area where we get our daily tasks done. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most days are spent working through whatever jobs have come in that morning. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We don't have a fancy office or a place for people to sit and wait. It’s a workshop, so there are tools and materials all over the place. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, it's hard to stay on top of the mess. The industrial estate has a lot of history and we know most of the people working in the nearby units. We often share a cup of tea or help each other out with small things. It’s a simple way of working. We don't go in for big marketing or anything like that. People find us because they know the area or someone told them about us. We just focus on finishing the work and making sure it's done right. It's not a glamorous job, but it's what we do. We show up every day and keep at it until the sun goes down.
