Anand A Jathan

Living and working out of 4 Bunglows in Andheri is quite an experience because it is such a lively neighborhood. Anand A Jathan is located at 3/104 in Kishor Darshan, specifically in the Kothi Faliya Padra area. It’s a residential building, so things are a bit different than a standard office block. You have the sound of families and kids playing in the background while we try to focus on our work. The flat is on the first floor, which makes it easy for people to find once they get past the main gate. We have a small desk set up near the window where the light is better. Most of the day is spent handling local requests and paperwork. It is a quiet operation for the most part. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We keep our files in a large cabinet that has seen better days. The balcony has a few plants that barely survive the Mumbai heat. It is a simple setup without any extra flash. We prefer it this way because it feels more like a home than a sterile workplace. People usually call before coming over so we can make sure the place is tidy enough for visitors. The building security guard knows us well and helps direct anyone who looks lost. It’s just how things have been since we started here.
