Anamik

Anamik is just our little spot over here at 164 in Andheri. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic and loud Andheri can be at almost any time of the day. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall guy down the street knows exactly how we take our chai when we go for a break. It’s not a big place at all. We basically just handle what comes through the door every day and try to keep things organized. We don’t really do much online or have a big social media presence to speak of. We mostly just talk to people face-to-face like people used to do. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, but it’s home for us now. People sometimes ask why we don't move to a bigger or newer office, but this location at 164 really works for what we do. We are right in the middle of everything. Sometimes it feels like the whole city is passing by right outside our window. Our name is simple, and we try to keep our daily work that way too. We don't have complicated rules or a bunch of managers running around telling everyone what to do. It’s just us doing our work. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the rain gets way too heavy during the monsoon, but we just keep going. It’s a very typical Mumbai setup, through and through. We just take it one day at a time here.
