Amus Corporation

Our place is at 2, Amar Niketan, right there in J. B. Nagar. It’s an older building, the kind you find all over Andheri East, and it has a lot of character. Being in J. B. Nagar means we are close to the metro and all the shops, so it’s easy for everyone to get here. The office itself is number 12, and it’s a bit cozy. We’ve crammed quite a lot into the space over the years. You’ll see stacks of files and various pieces of hardware tucked into corners. It’s not one of those minimalist offices you see in magazines. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where everything is. The neighbors in the building are mostly quiet, though you can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. We usually start the day around ten, once everyone has fought their way through the Mumbai crowds. There’s a small kitchen area where we make coffee, which is basically the heart of the office. We don’t really do big presentations or anything fancy. Usually, we are just talking across the room to each other while we work. It’s a simple setup for a small group of people who just want to get their tasks done. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on, but mostly we try to head out before the trains get too bad.
