Ameya Art Printers

Our printing shop is in Goregaon West at 113/1. We are tucked away behind Lovely Stores and very close to Gurunanak Park. It is a good spot because the park brings a lot of people by every day. We do all kinds of printing work here. The machines are old but they are reliable and they have been with us for a long time. The shop has a very specific smell of ink and fresh paper which I have grown to like over the years. We handle mostly small jobs for the local community like flyers or business cards. It is a noisy place when all the printers are running at once and sometimes it is hard to hear the phone. I spend most of my day standing at the counter or fixing paper jams. It is not a corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It is just a workshop where things get made. Sometimes we get a big order and we have to work late into the night to finish it. My family has been in this neighborhood for a long time so we know the owners of the other shops like Lovely Stores quite well. We don't have a big sign outside but most folks know where we are. We just keep our heads down and focus on the paper in front of us. It is a steady way to make a living.
