Ambika Sandblasting Co

Ambika Sandblasting Co is situated in Ghatkopar, right on the road that goes to the Jangleshwar Mahadev Mandir. We are tucked into Ganesh Lane, and it’s a pretty gritty place to work. Sandblasting is a messy business, so there is usually a bit of dust in the air and on our clothes. We spend the whole day using the machines to clean up metal and other surfaces. The sound of the compressors is something you just get used to after a while. Being near the Mandir Road means we hear the temple bells sometimes when the machines are off. Ghatkopar is a busy area, but our little corner in Ganesh Lane stays focused on the industrial side of things. We have a lot of heavy equipment sitting around the yard. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best shoes. We just get in, do the work, and go home tired. The shop is big enough for the projects we take on, but it’s definitely not a showroom. We don't have a website or any of that, we just rely on people knowing we are here on the lane. It’s hard work, but there is something satisfying about seeing a rusted piece of metal come out looking clean. We've been at this spot for years and don't plan on moving anytime soon. We just keep our heads down and blast away the rust until the metal shows through.
