Ambika Computer

Ambika Computer is right at Shop No. 1, near Sai Dosa House. We are directly opposite the Fire Brigade in the Fort area. It’s a very busy part of town, always lots of people and cars moving around. Being next to a food place means it smells like dosas quite often, which isn't a bad thing at all. The shop itself is small. We have shelves filled with parts and some benches for working. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when customers are inside. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy storefront. The sign is a bit old, but people find us easily enough because of the fire station across the street. We’ve been here for years and have seen the shops around us change many times. We just keep doing what we do. It’s a lot of manual work and sitting at the bench. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on. The noise from the sirens and the street traffic is constant, but you stop noticing it after a week. It’s a humble little shop. We don't try to be anything we're not. People come in, tell us what they need, and we see if we can help. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day.
