Ambica Infotech

Our place is Ambica Infotech and we are tucked away on the 3rd floor of Sim Lim Square. That is on Lamington Road, which is always a bit of a mess with people and carts moving everywhere. You have to go up to room 302 to find us. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than it should. The hallways in this building are narrow and lined with all sorts of tech shops. Inside our space, there are stacks of motherboards and old monitors that we haven't quite decided what to do with yet. We spend our time fixing computers and dealing with various infotech problems. It gets pretty loud on Lamington Road with the honking and people shouting, but it’s quieter once you get up to the third floor. We have a couple of workbenches that are usually covered in screws and tools. The lighting is a bit bright and clinical, but it helps when you are looking at tiny circuits. We aren't big on decorations here. It’s more about having the right parts on the shelf when someone comes in needing a fix. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The air conditioning works most of the time, so that is a plus. It’s just us doing the daily tech grind in Grant Road, trying to keep things running for whoever walks through the door.
