Amarjeet Singhoberai

Amarjeet Singhoberai is the name. My setup is up on the third floor of Rajeev Niwas. We are located in Laxmi Colony, which is right by the Old Church in Chembur. If you know the area, it's pretty quiet compared to the main roads. I’ve been working from this 307 unit for a few years now. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but it works for us. Chembur is a nice place to be based. You have everything you need nearby. I don't really go for all that corporate talk. We just do the work as it comes. The office isn't massive. It's mostly desks and some old files stacked up in the corner. Sometimes the windows are open to let the breeze in, though it gets a bit dusty from the street. Neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. I usually get in early and stay until the work is finished for the day. People usually call before they come up since it's a residential colony. It feels more personal that way. I grew up around Mumbai, so I like being in a spot that feels like home. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run right every single day. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs during our breaks. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just try to stay busy and keep things moving along without too much fuss or drama.
