We are based out of the old Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. Specifically, we are at number 225 on Dadiseth Road. Being in an old film studio compound gives the place a bit of a strange feeling, but it’s actually a very busy area for trade now. Amar Tej Plasto Trade has been here for a while. We handle a lot of plastic materials and the warehouse is usually full to the ceiling. It’s not a shiny office. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the floor is scuffed from all the heavy lifting. We spend our mornings checking the shipments and making sure everything is where it should be. The traffic on Dadiseth Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our big moves done early in the morning. It’s just a few of us running the show here. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone and talk to whoever is on the other end. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a stack of papers or moving crates around. We’ve been part of this Malad community for years and we know the other business owners nearby. It’s a steady job. We don’t try to complicate things with big plans. We just keep the trade moving and deal with whatever comes up each day.
