Virwani Industrial Estate is right off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. We are at unit number one. Being so close to the highway means we hear the traffic all day long. It’s a busy spot. We do plastic work here. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow. Inside, it’s mostly machines and stacks of finished goods waiting to go out. We’ve got a mix of people working here, some who have been with us since the start. It’s loud because of the heavy machinery, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. We don’t use any fancy business jargon. We just talk about cycles, temperatures, and how many units we can get out before the shift ends. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading. Space is tight, so we have to be organized, or you can’t even walk through the aisles. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the floor. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name on the door. It’s a practical setup for people who aren't afraid of hard work and the smell of industrial plastic. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production line, making sure the settings on the machines are correct.
