Altron Infotech

Altron Infotech is located over in Jogeshwari East, right where the main road gets really crowded. We spend most of our time surrounded by open computer towers and loose wires. It’s a bit of a mess to be honest. There are boxes of keyboards stacked in the corner and a pile of old monitors that we keep meaning to get rid of. My cousin helps me out during the weekends when it gets extra busy. People bring in their laptops because they spilled coffee or the screen went dark. We do our best to figure out what's wrong. Sometimes it takes a day, sometimes it takes a week depending on if we can find the right parts. Jogeshwari East is a noisy place so we usually have the radio playing to drown out the traffic. The air conditioner is old and makes a rattling sound but it keeps the dust off the motherboards. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just find Altron Infotech by word of mouth or by seeing the blue sign on the street. It’s a practical setup. We have a small workbench with a bright lamp where all the soldering happens. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep up. It’s just a regular shop where we fix things and talk to the neighbors. We’ve been here since the building was first put up. It gets the job done for the folks around here.
