You can find Almas Exports & Imports Pvt. Ltd. at Jx 7, Almas House, right opposite Millat Nagar in Oshiwara. This part of Andheri West is always humming with activity. We have been operating out of Almas House for quite a while now. Our business is pretty simple at its core. We move goods in and out of the country. This involves a lot of paperwork, which usually piles up on our desks. The office isn't anything special to look at. It has the usual stuff like computers, printers, and some old wooden cupboards for files. We have a small group of workers who handle the logistics and the accounts. Oshiwara is a place where everyone is busy doing something, and we are no different. We spend our mornings responding to emails and our afternoons on the phone with various agents. Sometimes things go wrong with a shipment and we have to stay late to fix it. We don't have a marketing team to make us look bigger than we are. We are just a private limited company trying to navigate the import and export world. It’s a lot of routine work, but we are used to it. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about what's happening in the neighborhood. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve built some good relationships over the years. We keep things realistic and just focus on the next shipment.
