Alje Computronics

Alje Computronics is located over in Chembur, specifically around Bangur Nagar 10. It’s mostly a room full of old monitors, tangled power cables, and various computer parts scattered across the workbenches. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't starting up or why someone's laptop is making a weird grinding noise. The shop smells a bit like solder and dust, which I guess is normal for a place that deals with electronics all day long. It isn't the most quiet environment because there’s usually a radio playing in the background or the sound of fans whirring from the machines we are testing. People from around the neighborhood drop by with their broken tablets or desktop towers that have seen better days. We don't have a fancy front desk or anything like that, just a counter where people leave their contact details on a notepad. Sometimes the parts we need take a few days to arrive, so the shelves stay pretty cluttered with ongoing projects. It gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window, but we have a small AC that tries its best. It is just a practical workshop for people who need their tech fixed without any unnecessary fuss. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit of time now and most locals know the door is usually open for business.
