Alif India Packaging

Up on the second floor of the Kanara Business Center in Ghatkopar East, that's where you'll find Alif India Packaging. We are in unit 213 in the B Wing. It’s a busy building with a lot of different offices, so the elevators are usually slow and crowded. We spend our days surrounded by cardboard boxes, rolls of tape, and all kinds of wrapping materials. It gets a bit cramped in our unit when a big shipment arrives from the supplier. Laxmi Nagar is a crowded area, so getting to the center can be a bit of a headache because of the traffic. We started out small years ago and just kept at it day after day. Most of the time, we're just busy packing things up or checking the inventory on the shelves. It's not a glamorous job, but every product needs a box or some sort of protection before it goes out. We talk to a lot of different vendors every week. Sometimes the samples they send us aren't quite right, so we have to go back and forth many times. Our office is usually a bit of a mess with paper scraps and rolls of plastic lying around. We try to keep it organized but it's hard when things are moving so fast. We’re just a small group of people trying to keep up with the orders that come in. Usually, someone is always on the phone. It's nothing special.
