You can find us over at B 501 Kshitij Mahindra Gesco on Ram Mandir Rd. This is in Goregaon, part of Maharashtra 400104 in India. It’s a typical Mumbai office space, honestly. Alcatel Lucent India Pvt Ltd has been in this spot for a while. The walk from the Ram Mandir station isn't too long, but in the heat, it feels like miles. We are on the fifth floor. The building is okay, but it gets really crowded in the lobby during the mornings. Inside the office, it's mostly just rows of desks and some dying plants someone forgot to water last week. We deal with a lot of technical stuff and coordination. The fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but you stop noticing after an hour or so. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place where we come to work. The tea lady downstairs makes really good ginger tea, so we usually head down there around four. Sometimes the paperwork gets overwhelming, but we just take it one day at a time. Goregaon is always noisy, but that’s just how it is here. We have a few windows, but they mostly look out onto other buildings. It’s a practical space for a practical job. We just keep moving forward with the daily grind and try not to get stuck in the lift when it's raining or when the power fluctuates.
