Al Jamil The Gift Shop

Al Jamil The Gift Shop is located at number 52 in the Saint Anthony Industrial Area, right near Fakhri Sweets in the Masjid neighborhood. This is a busy, industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of activity with trucks and people moving goods. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We have been here for several years, and we have seen the area change quite a bit. Inside the shop, it is mostly shelves and racks filled with all kinds of gift items. We don't have a lot of room to spare, so things are piled pretty high. It is not a fancy place with air conditioning or soft music. Usually, you can hear the sounds of the industrial area right outside the door. We spend a lot of time talking to the local workers and the people who come by after visiting the sweet shop nearby. We try to keep things simple and honest here. There are no big marketing plans or corporate strategies. We just buy what we think people will like and sell it at a fair price. Some days it is very busy and other days we just sit and wait for the rain to stop. It is a practical business run by people who live nearby and understand the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
