Akshay Motor Mechanic

Our garage is located in the Burner Market area of Tilak Nagar, right in Andheri East. We are situated opposite the Asha Krishna Building. It’s a very busy part of the city, and there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the cars passing by. Akshay Motor Mechanic is where we spend our whole day, usually covered in grease and engine oil. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit a few vehicles in and out throughout the day. We have our tools hanging on the walls and spare parts stacked up in the back corners where it’s a bit dark. It’s mostly just mechanical work—fixing engines, checking brakes, and sorting out whatever noise a car is making that it shouldn't be. People from the market and the nearby buildings bring their cars to us when they break down or just need an oil change. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes we’re working under a car with a torch in hand for hours. We don't have a waiting room or anything fancy like that; customers usually just stand around or go get a tea at the stall nearby while we finish up. The heat gets pretty bad in the middle of the day, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the neighbors in Tilak Nagar know us well.
