Akshar Trade

We are situated over in Royal Palms, Aarey Colony, in the Emraild 1 building, unit 1802. It’s a bit different being out here in Aarey compared to the rest of Mumbai. It’s much greener and sometimes you even forget how crowded the city is until you head back towards the station. We’ve been working out of this space for a while. Akshar Trade is mostly just us on the phones and the computers, keeping track of different trades. The office has a decent view, which is nice when you’re stuck inside all day. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything. It’s just a small team trying to stay on top of the market. Sometimes the commute can be a bit of a pain because of the traffic into Aarey, but once you’re here, it’s quiet enough to actually think. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular kettle and some instant packets. Most of us bring lunch from home and eat together while we talk about the weekend. It’s a pretty relaxed atmosphere, though it gets busy when the markets are moving fast. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job well and go home at a reasonable hour. It’s a way to run a business that makes sense for us.
