Aks Trading Company

Aks Trading Company is located in the Fort area, specifically on Modi Street. We are on the third floor of Dhanraj Niwas in shop number nine. It is a tight squeeze in this part of Mumbai, but we make it work somehow. The building is old and has that specific smell of paper and old wood. We deal with trading, which means a lot of checking prices and talking to people all day long. It gets quite noisy downstairs with all the shops and pedestrians. Most of the time, we are just sitting here handling the orders as they come through. It is not a place for anything fancy. We have our files, a few computers, and plenty of chairs for when people stop by to talk. Sometimes the packages pile up near the door before they go out. We have been in Fort for a while and know most of the other traders around here. It is a decent spot to be if you are in this line of work. We just keep things moving and try not to let the paperwork get too far ahead of us. It is a regular office life for us. We have our routines and we keep our heads down. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall. We don't need much more than that to get through the day and the tall stacks of files.
