Ajmal Group

Our office is tucked away in Kamal Mansion on Arthur Bunder Road. Being in Colaba, there is always something going on outside our door with the tourists and local sellers. Ajmal Group has been in this 3/24 unit for a long time. It is an old building with a lot of character, and maybe some creaky floors too. We manage everything from here, from the phone calls to the local logistics. The sea is close by, so you can feel the salt in the air on some days. It is a busy part of town, so getting here in the morning takes some patience with the Mumbai traffic. We are a group of people who know how to get the job done without making a big fuss about it. Our desks are usually covered in files and ledgers. We do not have a fancy reception area. If you walk in, you will see us working right there. It is a practical setup for the kind of trading and coordination we do. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and talk. It is a simple life and a simple way of doing business in South Bombay. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the guys who deliver our lunch every day. We try to keep things steady and ignore the humidity.
