Our office is in the Express Zone building over in Goregaon East, specifically in the A Wing on the fourth floor. It’s a large complex, and finding Office No. 408 can be a bit of a walk from the main entrance. We spend our days inside this air-conditioned space, looking out at the traffic moving along the highway. Ajcon It.Com Ltd. isn't a massive operation with hundreds of people; it’s just a small team of us sitting at our workstations. The walls are mostly bare, and the desks are covered in the usual office stuff like half-empty water bottles and sticky notes. We get to work early to beat the Goregaon rush, which is always a struggle. Most of the day is spent on computers, typing away or checking data. It gets pretty quiet in here, save for the clicking of keyboards and the occasional person walking down the hallway outside. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity with a polished image. We just come in, do our jobs, and try to keep things running smoothly. The elevators in the building are always slow, so we end up chatting with people from the other offices while we wait. It’s a very standard office life in a busy part of Mumbai. By the time five or six o'clock rolls around, we’re ready to pack up and head back into the crowd. We usually leave the lights on for the cleaning crew that comes in late at night.
