Our setup is located in Room No 140 of the New Timber Market in Kurla East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always the sound of trucks and people moving wood around outside our door. We’ve been here at Varsha Adarsh for a long time now. The office itself is small and functional. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big sign out front. It’s mostly just a place to keep our records and talk to whoever drops by. The market gets quite dusty, so we spend a fair bit of time just wiping down the desks. We aren't looking for any awards for our office design. It’s just a room with a fan and some chairs. If you need to find us, you just have to navigate through the stacks of timber and find the right door. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the market inside and out. The heat in Kurla can be pretty intense in the summer, but we just deal with it. We don't use any of that corporate language because it doesn't fit a place like this. We are just here to do our job in the timber market and keep things moving. It’s a bit loud and a bit messy, but it’s our space and we like it that way.
