Our office is tucked away in Amar Vikas Society, which is over in the Kajupada area of Kurla West. It is right near Shivaji Vidyalaya, so you can usually hear the school bells and kids playing if the windows are open. We have been based in this part of Mumbai for some time. It is a small space, nothing like those big glass towers you see in BKC, but it works for us. We handle a lot of technical work and software things from here. The rooms are a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. Most of us commute using the local trains or autos, so the morning rush is always a topic of conversation while we make tea. The building is an older one, so sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or deal with the usual Mumbai monsoon issues. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, to be honest. We have our computers set up and we just get on with the daily tasks. People from the neighborhood know us as the tech folks in unit 1/4. There is a small shop nearby where we get our snacks. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or if they need some specific technical help. It is a quiet street mostly, except for when school lets out.
