Our place is Unit No 2 in the Buwal Singh Compound. It is located in Jogeshwari West, not too far from the Ajit Glass Factory. The compound is a bit of a maze if you are not used to industrial areas, but once you find us, it is pretty straightforward. We have been here for a good amount of time, seeing the area change as more buildings go up. The space we have is functional and does the job for what we need. It is often hot in the afternoons, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving while we work. We don't have any big signs or bright lights outside. People usually find us because they were told to look for the compound near the glass factory. It is a working environment, so there is always something being moved around or loaded onto a truck. We started this because we wanted to be our own bosses and Jogeshwari offered a space that we could afford at the time. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in town, just a reliable spot where people can come and get what they need. Most days are spent talking to suppliers or checking on the stock we have in the back. It is steady work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We drink a lot of chai to keep going during the long afternoons. It's just a normal business like any other in the compound.
