Our office for Adventity Research is at A 12C Viceroy Park in Thakur Village, Kandivali East. If you know Mumbai, you know Thakur Village is a busy, crowded area but also has these nice residential pockets. Viceroy Park is one of those. We work from here, mostly doing data collection and analysis. It’s a typical Mumbai apartment converted into a workspace. It’s got a kitchen where we make way too much tea and a main room where all the computers are set up. The view outside isn't bad, and you can see the hustle of the village below. We have a few people who have been with us since the start. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly, the walls just have calendars and a few notes taped up. The commute for some of us involves the Western Express Highway, which is always a headache, so we are happy once we finally get into the office. We aren't trying to be the biggest research firm in India; we just want to do our work without any drama. The 400 101 area is convenient because everything you need is right around the corner. We usually order food from the local places nearby or bring tiffins. It’s a very normal, low-key environment. We just show up, do the research, and go home to our families. It’s a routine that keeps us grounded.
