Advent International

Advent International is located in the basement of the Creative Industrial Estate. Being at numbers 8 and 9 in the basement means we do not get much sunlight, but it keeps things a bit cooler during the Mumbai heat. N.H. Joshi Marg is a hectic place, and the estate itself is always buzzing with people from different businesses. You have to walk down the concrete stairs to find us. It is a bit of a labyrinth in here with all the different units. Our space is mostly filled with boxes and equipment. It is not a place for visitors to come and see a showy display. We use the basement space for storage and handling our day-to-day operations. The lighting is all fluorescent, which gives everything a bit of a dull glow, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time checking inventories and packing things up. You can hear the rumble of the city from up above, especially when heavy trucks pass by on the Marg. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The security guards at the gate know us well. It is a working-class atmosphere. People are always moving, trying to get their shipments out on time. We do not have a fancy board room or anything like that. We just have a few desks and a lot of shelf space. It is a functional setup for our work.
