Accenture Management Consulting operates out of A 704 in Orion Cosmos Paradise. It is situated right off Pokhran Road No 1 in Thane. Most mornings here start with the sound of traffic building up outside. We usually get in around nine, grab some tea from the corner, and settle into the day. The building is decent, though the elevators can be a bit slow when everyone is arriving at once. Being here in Thane feels different than being in the main city. It is a bit greener around Pokhran Road, even if the construction never seems to stop lately. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and answering emails. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy, but we manage. People here are mostly local, coming from around the district. It’s not a fancy glass tower like you see in movies, just a regular office floor where things get done. We don't really have big parties or anything, just the usual birthday cake in the break room now and then. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, so the AC is always running. It's a practical place to work. You can see the hills in the distance on clear days if you stand near the window in the back. Anyway, that’s pretty much what it’s like for us here. We’ve been at this address for a while now and everyone knows the way. It’s home for us during the week.
