Chira Bazar is a very crowded and noisy place to work. Our office for the enterprise is located in Sahar at A/6 179. It is an old building, and you have to go up some narrow stairs to find us. We don't have a lot of room, just a couple of small spaces filled with desks and files. Most of our day is spent on the telephone or dealing with piles of paperwork. We do a lot of trading and coordinating, so there are always boxes coming in or going out. It is never quiet because of the market outside. You can always hear the sounds of handcarts on the stone street and people yelling to get past the traffic. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. People just come in to talk business or drop off documents. The lighting isn't the best, so we keep the lamps on all day. The walls are a bit stained and could use some work, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We have a small corner where we make tea and take a break when we can. It is a practical and busy place. We just focus on getting our tasks done and moving on to the next day. That is the way things have been here for a long time.
