We’ve been here at 9, Shreeji Plaza for a good while now. Tata Road 2 is always a bit of a mess with the traffic in Opera House, but you get used to the noise after a few years. Our spot isn't anything fancy, just a workspace where we get things done every day. Mostly, it’s just the sound of the fans and someone on the phone. We start pretty early most mornings to beat the heat, though that doesn't always work out. Sometimes the lift in the plaza acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that we visit way too often. People stop by, we talk about the market, and then get back to the books. It’s a small office, really. We’ve got desks piled with papers and some old chairs that have seen better days. It’s not about looking polished or anything like that. We just know where everything is and how things work in this part of town. Opera House has a certain rhythm, and we’re just part of it. Usually, we wrap up by evening, unless there’s a lot of pending work, which happens more often than I’d like to admit. It’s just us here, doing the daily grind without making a big fuss about it. That’s how it’s been for as long as I can remember.
