Up on the second floor of Progressive Exotica, in Room 201, is where we set up our office at Plot No 15 8. It is located in Sector 11 of Navi Mumbai, which is a bit more planned out than other parts of the city. The building is one of those newer ones that looks quite nice from the street. Aakar Abhinav Consultants Pvt Ltd has been in this unit for a while now. It is a decent-sized space with enough room for our desks and a small corner for files. We have some large windows that look out onto the street, and you can see people going about their business. The air conditioning is a necessity here because the Maharashtra heat can get pretty intense in the summer. We keep things pretty simple inside. There are not any expensive decorations or high-end furniture. It is just a place where we sit down and get our work done. We have a small pantry where we make tea and occasionally heat up lunch. The staff mostly keeps to themselves, working on their computers or chatting about the projects. Being in Sector 11 is convenient because there are plenty of shops nearby if we need anything. It does not feel like a big corporate headquarters; it feels more like a local office where everyone knows each other. We like the balance of being in a professional building but keeping the atmosphere inside quite relaxed. It is a good spot for us.
