Situated at 14 14 in the Deonar Mu Colony, our office is right in the heart of Govandi in Mumbai. Even though the name mentions CBD Belapur, this is where we actually spend our time. The colony is a bit of a maze if you are not used to it. It is a very local feel here, with families living nearby and kids playing in the lanes. The building itself is quite old and has that specific Mumbai look to it. Inside, it is a simple setup with a few tables and some chairs that do not quite match. We handle our consulting work from here, mostly sitting around the main table and going over papers. It gets a bit humid, so the fans are always on full blast. There is a small window that lets in some air, but it also lets in the noise from the street. We do not have any fancy signage or a big lobby. People usually find us by asking around or following the house numbers. The routine is the same every day. We arrive, open up, and get started. Sometimes the tea guy comes by, or we go out to the main road for a break. It is a humble place, and we are not trying to pretend otherwise. Working in Govandi has its challenges, like the traffic, but we have been here long enough that it feels like home. It is just a plain office where we do our bit.
