Aaccent Floor Coverings

We’ve been running the shop at number 269 in Powai Plaza for quite a bit now. It’s right near the main entrance area, so we get a fair amount of people just dropping in while they do their other shopping. Dealing with floor coverings isn't always the most exciting job, but it’s what we know. We spend most of our mornings moving samples around and making sure everything is tidy for when customers show up. Choosing a floor is a big decision for a house, so we usually just let people look through the stacks of carpet and vinyl at their own pace. Sometimes we help with the measuring if someone is stuck or confused about the sizes. The plaza can get really crowded on the weekends, which makes things a bit hectic in here. We have a lot of different patterns and materials piled up, so it can feel a bit cramped inside the shop some days. It’s just me and a couple of others most of the time. We aren't doing anything fancy or corporate, just trying to run a decent local business in Powai. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. We've seen a lot of changes in the plaza over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. It’s a lot of lifting and talking to people about their home projects, which fills up the day. We’re usually here until the plaza closes up for the evening and the lights go down.
