This is a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside. Our office is inside the apartment complex, which gives it a slightly more private feel than a shop on the main road. We have turned the space into a functional engineering office with drafting tables and plenty of space for blueprints and technical manuals. Since we are consultants, we spend a lot of time sitting around the table discussing different plans and checking over figures. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for when we are all talking at once about a specific project. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee or tea to keep us going through the long afternoons. Ashwin Apartment is a familiar building to most people in Mulund East, so it’s not hard for visitors to find us. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or marketing materials lying around. Instead, our shelves are full of technical books and old project files. It is a very hands-on kind of place where we focus on the details of the engineering work. We usually work late into the evening if we have a lot of drawings to finish, and then we just clear our desks and start again the next morning.
