A Rajabali

A Rajabali is located at 38-A on Kika Street in Gulalwadi. We are right opposite the Satyanarayan Temple, which is a very busy and lively spot. You can always hear the temple bells and the sounds of the street from inside our shop. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it has character. We mostly deal with hardware and metal goods, the kind of things people in this area always need. The shop is narrow and filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. Gulalwadi is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who have been coming to us for decades. It is not a modern showroom with bright lights. It is a traditional shop where we sit on low stools and write out bills by hand. We like the history of Kika Street and being part of this community. Sometimes it is hard to get deliveries in because the street is so narrow, but we make it work. It is a simple life and a simple business, and we are quite happy with that. We don't need things to be complicated or fancy to do a good job for our customers.
