A K Interiors

A K Interiors is based out of room 407. We are located in the area between Worli and Pydhonie, near Mandvi. It’s a very old part of the city and the building has seen better days, but it’s where we do our work. We spend a lot of time looking at samples of wood, fabric, and tiles. The office is usually covered in dust from some project or another we are planning. We aren't the kind of designers you see on television with fancy sketches or high-tech software. We just draw things out on paper and figure out how to make them fit in someone's house. It’s practical work. Most of our clients are local families who want to fix up their kitchens or add some cupboards. We have a few carpenters we work with all the time. They know how we like things done and we know their style. It’s often loud in the workshop area, so we do most of our talking in the small office room. We don't have a big portfolio book to show off. Usually, we just take people to see a job we finished nearby in the neighborhood. People know us because we’ve been around this part of Mumbai for a long time. We aren't looking to become some huge company. We just like making spaces look a bit better for the people living there. It’s honest labor and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every week.
