A. D. Mehta & Co. is based in the Ghatkopar Industrial Estate, which is on L.B.S. Marg. We are in unit D-101. If you know the Ghatkopar (W) area, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and workers moving around. Our space in the industrial estate is where all the action happens. It’s a big, open area that we’ve filled with our equipment and materials. The L.B.S. Marg traffic is something we deal with every single day, but it’s a good spot for being connected to the rest of the city. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people who come here are looking for the workshop. The air is always a bit metallic, and there’s usually the sound of something being moved or fixed. We’ve been part of this estate for a long time, and we know most of the other business owners around here. Our day starts early before the heat gets too bad. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around the shop floor checking on things. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders out on time. The building is old and reliable, much like the way we run things. It takes a lot of effort to keep things organized, and we are constantly rearranging the stock.
